For the Winston Churchill Fellowship, I am required to write up and disseminate my research findings.
This website is intended to do that. But it is also intended to do more.
One of the key findings from my research is that the communities of best practice are highly fragmented, and knowledge-sharing does not sit at the heart of the digital alumni relations and fundraising sectors.
It is my hope – and belief – that this website can serve initially as a relevant guide, and over time as a community-owned resource for those looking to start and grow digital engagement programmes in the higher education sector globally.
To do that will require others – as I am a minor authority operating in a small corner of the world. If you’re interested in playing a part in building out this resource for the future, please get in touch.
As a first distribution opportunity, I presented my work at the Case Europe Annual Conference in August 2017. If you attended – get in touch! I’d love your feedback. My presentation is available for public view and comment here:
I will be shortly creating and disseminating a short series of videos on YouTube discussing the research and each specific set of recommendations. As a follow up to this, I will be creating video case studies of the institutions with particular challenges or examples of success. These will be shared here as this resource develops out into a platform for wider sector benefit.
Read on to Participants and Gratitude.
